Francois Plantation is now open during all the summer. The closing dates are: September 1 to October 31.

This property is a feast for the senses. Though it gives the effect of being a vintage property, it was built by an avid gardener less than 20 years ago. The gardens are spectacular and dominate the property. Hummingbirds love it here
and you will too.

The cottages are West Indian bungalows in various, vibrant colors
scattered high, low and everywhere. The rooms are simply, but elegantly
furnished in antiques and some rattan. There are no kitchens, but TV and
phones in the rooms.

The reception is a large, open plantation-style building with a formal tropical library. The restaurant's latest concept is their informal, cozy and intimate wine-bar atmosphere where you will have the opportunity to savor 40 gourmet tasty ideas and 40 different wines by the glass in supplement of a 300 references wine list. (The restaurant is closed June 1 through Oct. 31.)

Located on a hillside, there's a pool on the property and the beaches
of Flamands and Colombier are only a short drive away. As in most St. Barts
hotels, if you really want to experience the island and its myriad of beaches
and sights, a rental car is really needed. At Francois Plantation, a rental car is provided with the room during the low and summer season.
