It was spectacular. Visited: April 2006

From the minute we arrived to the time we departed, the staff could not have been more gracious.

The villa was enchanting, and the food Rosalin prepared was delicious. It was nice to come home from a day of adventure to a table nicely set and a lovely meel waiting for us - not to mention the rum punch.

This is a dream home away from home! Visited: May 2004

We visited May 2004. Traveling with nine adults for a long awaited getaway, Villa La Paloma in St. Lucia was indeed a blessing to find.

Our trip was an awesome adventure and thanks to the owners, Valerie and Ross, their pre-trip assistance made the travel road easy. We were so taken with the beauty of the island, the courtesy and friendly people, the culture, and all the wonderful activities.

Villa La Paloma was magnificent: A relaxing atmosphere and welcoming with the style and beauty one would not expect from a rental but which has set the standard for any future travel residence.

With spacious and gorgeous bedrooms, quiet nooks, beautiful baths, and a "to die for" kitchen, it was easy to see why Villa La Paloma receives high ratings from visitors.

The cook Rosaline, the housekeeper Annette, and the driver, Changoo left all of us trying to figure out how we could remain in St. Lucia as permanent residents. Rosaline gave us a nine-day love affair with various island treats, shared recipes and island stories. She is indeed a true gem, just like having a wonderful mother keeping the house smelling wonderful while lovingly making sure that everything ran efficiently.

Ms. Annette, the housekeeper was a blessing! One of our greatest pleasures was the magical way our rooms seemed to always be clean, the fresh smell of the laundry just off the outdoor line and her shy smile as we humbly offered our thanks.

In addition to a rental vehicle, we had a driver recommended by the Villa, Donaldson Changoo, a must for any visitor. We never had to worry about being left in a strange place, he magically appeared just as we completed an activity or needed to make a quick run to town when the rental vehicle was otherwise occupied.

He went out of his way to bring us local treats such as fresh mangos picked from his tree, to fill an order for a local newspaper, sand from the beach or to provide an unscheduled tour of the island complete with stops to take pictures.

The activities, scheduled by Island Agency, in conjunction with Villa La Paloma, kept our days filled with wonderful adventures such as horseback riding on the beach; a day cruising on a pirate ship, the Brig Unicorn; taking in the botanic gardens, waterfalls, and the volcano; and learning more of the island history. Each adventure came with a full service lunch that amazed us.

The local restaurant, Froggie's, is a must stop, offering wonderful food served with grace and style one often only experience in a five-star restaurant.

Villa La Paloma is a must stay, it is now our official Caribbean island home. So if you're thinking St. Lucia, Villa La Paloma is required to make your adventure complete.

Beautiful villa and a wonderful staff! Visited: September 2003

My husband and I truly enjoyed our honeymoon at La Paloma. The villa was beautiful with gorgeous views of the ocean! Rosaline's cooking was far better than anything else on the island, and Annette kept the villa perfectly clean.

We also loved the fact that the beach was so close by - along with Vigie airport - making the trip to the villa very convenient and short.

We will definitely be recommending the villa to our friends and family and hope to return someday!

LaPaloma is a beautiful villa in Paradise. Visited: June 2003

LaPaloma – what a beautiful place in which to reside during our vacation here on St. Lucia!

The island is to be explored and savored. The people were friendly and shared with us the flavor of the West Indies. Their colorful personalities will serve as much treasured memories.

Not to be missed are Cas En Bas Beach, with a four-wheel drive J, Anse Lovoutte, and Smugglers Cove. We also enjoyed our drive through Anse La Raye and snorkeling at Anse Cochon. Our pony trek in the Atlantic was fabulous.

Also, dinner at Froggie Jack's was most enjoyable, as was Rosaline's meals prepared here. Pigeon Point was a very secluded beach during the week and we enjoyed the views from its vantage points.

We were enthralled by the banana plantations, beautiful foliage, and chirping birds, one of which found the kitchen to be a nice place to go in and out of for a bite eat.

It was the most amazing vacation ever! Visited: October 2002

La Paloma was absolutely fabulous. Upon returning home after spending 7 wonderful nights - it was the most relaxed I have ever felt after a vacation. This was due to the fact that we wanted for nothing while staying at La Paloma.

Rosaline and Annette took care of our every need from cooking the most wonderful meals to daily housekeeping needs.

The house was well equipped with all the comforts of home in a tropical paradise. Having our own pool overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Ocean was incredible.

We will definitely be returning! Thanks Val, Ross, Rosaline and Annette for the most incredible vacation I have ever experienced!

PS - Be sure to have Val have the tour hostess to come to the house to arrange all of your island tours and rental car!

Delightful, peaceful ambience in a lovely setting. Visited: May 2002

La Paloma provided the perfect setting for a reunion of several long-time friends and celebration of mid-life in a gorgeous Caribbean island setting.

We were looking for tranquility, serenity, sun, sea, privacy and beauty. We enjoyed all of that and much more in a lovely home with all the amenities and beautiful views of the sea from the verandas, patios and most of the rooms. We also enjoyed fabulous St. Lucian food (all meals and more!) custom prepared by the lovely Rosaline.

We enjoyed the pool day and night and wonderful prepared-from-scratch rum punch and just being cared for in an efficient, congenial but non-intrusive way. Val arranged lovely tours of the area, too, including the rain forest, fishing villages, local artists and much more!

We had a wonderful, relaxing experience at La Paloma. It was the perfect vacation...everything you hope and dream your vacation will be and more! I highly recommend it!

This was the perfect vacation! Visited: October 2001

Celebrating our friends' 10 year anniversary, we stayed at La Paloma for seven wonderful days. Everything was perfect - the food, the house, and the friends we made on the island.

Words can't describe the tranquil sounds at night, or the beautiful sunrises in the morning. A typical day was rising with the sun to fresh coffee and a wonderful breakfast, a dip in the pool, reading a good book, then exploring the island.

If you've ever dreamed of what a typical Caribbean island would look like, then St. Lucia is it. It was breathtaking! And the perfect place to stay was La Paloma. You have a gorgeous house to yourself, Roseline and Annette to take care of you, and beautiful scenery to gaze upon. We will definitely be back!

How do you describe the world's most amazing honeymoon?

-not going out much
-dancing and music on the verandah at La Paloma
-beautiful, spacious accommodations
-spectacular housekeeper and cook, Roseline and Annette.
-Roseline's Rum Punch and many delicious recipes
-no laundry to do
-beautiful beaches at Reduit
-insane and fun drive to Soufriere
-the sweetest St. Lucian children
-gorgeous sunsets
-great hosts, Ross, Valerie and Iain!

Thank you for sharing La Paloma with us as we start our lives together. We thought getting married in Belize was enough, but this topped it off for the perfect honeymoon experience!
