If guests have rented a car, an escort will meet guests at the airport outside baggage claim with a sign bearing the guests name. The charge to escort guests to the villa is $90. For no charge, directions to a meeting place will be provided (30 minute drive from airport) and there guests will be met and escorted to villa. Private transportation from airport for guests not renting a car is billed at minimum $60 (up to 4 guests or $15/per person over 4 guests, all luggage included). Taking a cab is not recommended due to the additional stops that are made which make it difficult to determine actual arrival time at meeting place. Departure transfers not included. |

Ocean Kaleidoscope is a three level home built into the side of the hill. The owners live on the top level (separate entrance), the middle level can accommodate a family of 4 and the lower level is the 1 bedroom unit (2 persons only). It's more like a condo unit - an affordable accommodation with the most amazing views of anywhere on the island!
Beautifully adorned in Caribbean colors, warm rattan furnishings and handcrafted accessories, guests will value the spacious layout of the main unit, the romantic ambiance of the adjoining garden efficiency, and generous amenities that provide all the quality comforts of home.
The main unit at Ocean Kaleidoscope has a king bed in the bedroom and a queen pullout in the living room--great for a couple and two children. The lower level unit (Garden Cottage) has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, perfect for another couple.
A spacious 270 square foot lounge deck, complete with Hawaiian hardwood furniture for 6-person dining is a wonderful touch to this property.
Overlooking Pillsbury Sound, St. John, the British Virgin Islands and many uninhabited islands and cays, pristine beaches, savory island cuisine, exhilarating marine adventure, island hopping, challenging golf links and shopping bonanzas are a stone's throw away.
This ideal location is within 5 to 15 minutes of a smorgasbord of vacation activities! Guests can indulge in sport fishing, scuba, parasailing, sailing, diving, windsurfing, jet skiing, power boating, tennis, golf, nature trails, and botanical gardens. Worldly dining and luxury goods for every taste bud and budget are within grasp.
There are several grocery stores within 5-10 mins. of Ocean Kaleidoscope. Marina Market in Red Hook is the closest. It is highly recommended for it's outstanding selection of meats and sea foods. Plaza Extra in Tutu Park Mall is the largest with incredible variety and it's own deli and bakery.
Several of St. Thomas' most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean and the world are within 3-15 mins. driving distance. Ocean Kaleiodoscope overlooks magnificent Sapphire Beach with it's palm tree lined white sands and eastern trade winds, ideal for parasailing and windsurfing. Walking in general is discouraged on St. Thomas' out of town roads, because of their infrequent sidewalks, tree grown shoulders and hidden corners. Coki Point Beach (7 mins.) is renowned for it's incredible snorkeling, scuba and fish feeding activities. Magen's Bay Beach (15 mins.) is the precious gem of St. Thomas, rated one of the Top 10 Most Beautiful Beaches by National Geographic and The Travel Channel. It has a 1-mile long, crescent shaped, soft white sand shoreline, sheltered by looming evergreen mountains overlooking a smooth turquoise bay. It is complete with beach concession, bar, gift shop, bathroom facilities and picnic sheds. As a member of the V.I. Parks and Recreation System, fitness and book lovers alike will enjoy this beach. Remember... ALL St. Thomas beaches are open to the public. With the exception of Magen's Bay, which charges a nominal entrance fee, they are all FREE for your use. Chaise lounge rentals, lunch, refreshments and local arts are available at many beaches. There are MANY other beaches to discover and explore!
Rental Notes: The Main Level Only rate is specifically designed for groups of 4 including children under 12. The lower level (Cottage) is separate from main level, and it is strongly recommended that minor children remain under adult supervision in the Main Level.
There is a 21" Charcoal grill, Beach chairs, Beach cooler, Iron & Ironing board available.
